Abstract
Australia has committed to the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While Australia reports success in achieving SDG 6 (clean water and sanitation), remote Indigenous communities face significant challenges. Higher disease burdens in these communities (SDG 3), often waterborne or hygiene-related (e.g., trachoma), highlight the critical interlinkages between SDGs 3 and 6. This research analyzes these interlinkages to inform policy and achieve sustainable solutions for marginalized communities, aligning with Agenda 2030 commitments.
