Abstract
This article examines the diverse ways Spanish seniors (aged 60-79) use the internet and ICT, focusing on e-commerce and e-government. A quantitative study of 405 users revealed seven distinct clusters, highlighting the heterogeneity of this demographic. Disparities in perceived digital security and trust significantly influence internet usage. The 'Able' and 'Daring' clusters represent the most active and skilled users, while the 'Sceptical' cluster demonstrates limited usage and skills. Despite this, online shopping and administrative procedures are increasingly common across all groups.
