This mixed-methods study investigates the impact of leisure activities on the well-being of retirees in Saudi Arabia, considering health, emotional balance, social integration, and self-fulfillment. Quantitative data from 545 retirees (snowball sampling) and qualitative data from 23 retirees (semi-structured interviews) were analyzed. Findings showed a moderate overall well-being enhancement due to leisure, with health benefits being most significant. Demographic variations influenced perceived benefits. The study highlights the need for culturally sensitive and accessible leisure programs tailored to the diverse needs of Saudi retirees.
