This study investigates the impact of push (rest & relaxation, ego enhancement, novelty & knowledge-seeking) and pull (tourism facilities, environment & safety, cultural & historical attraction) motivational factors on internal tourists' visit and revisit intentions to Egyptian destinations. It also examines the mediating role of country image in the relationship between these motives and intentions. Using an online survey of 349 internal tourists and structural equation modeling (SEM), the study finds that most hypotheses are supported, highlighting the importance of push and pull factors and country image in shaping tourist behavior, particularly within the context of a global crisis.
