Abstract
This research investigated the role of revenue generation in infrastructure development in Puntland, Somalia (2019-2022). It analyzed Puntland's revenue situation, infrastructure development, and economic growth, also reviewing Lagos State, Nigeria's experience with increased internally generated revenue (IGR) and its impact on infrastructure. The study found a significant correlation between revenue generation and infrastructure development and economic growth in Puntland, recommending that the government prioritize revenue generation initiatives to bolster infrastructure and broader economic advancement.
