Abstract
This paper analyzes the strategic partnership phenomenon in EU Foreign Policy, providing a definition and establishing common criteria for selection. A Binary Logistic Model, based on principal component analysis of various economic, political, geographical, and socio-cultural indicators, is applied to predict EU strategic partners and identify potential candidates beyond the existing 'Special Ten'.
