Abstract
This cross-sectional survey assessed the knowledge and awareness of 841 Saudi Arabian undergraduate dental students regarding sustainable development goals (SDGs) and sustainable dental practices (SDP). Participants showed moderate knowledge of SDGs and high awareness of SDP. A correlation was found between gender and pro-environmental behaviors, with clinical students showing higher SDP awareness. The findings highlight the need to improve sustainability competence and develop dental policy curricula to better prepare students for sustainable practices.
