Abstract
This study investigates the impact of high-speed railways (HSR) on urban regional accessibility and the spatial spillover of urban residents' income in China from 2000 to 2018. Key findings include: HSR enhanced urban regional accessibility; a spatial correlation exists between accessibility and labor market income, with cities exhibiting spatial clustering of high or low income; neighboring cities with greater accessibility exerted a siphon effect; labor market income is interdependent among cities; and HSR construction (2012-2018) led to increased income via a positive spatial spillover effect.
