Abstract
This study explores whether the perception of body shape influences political trait attribution and whether political identification affects this attribution. Experiment 1 modeled the relationship between 3D body shapes and attributed political traits, visualizing stereotypical body shapes associated with each trait. Experiment 2 tested whether raters' political identification influenced trait attribution to body shapes. Results showed that individuals attribute political traits to body shapes differently based on their own political preferences, highlighting the influence of personal views on judgments of others.
