S. Munzert, S. Ramirez-ruiz, et al.

This study conducted by Simon Munzert, Sebastian Ramirez-Ruiz, Başak Çalı, Lukas F. Stoetzer, Anita Gohdes, and Will Lowe explores public preferences for COVID-19 vaccine allocation across several countries. Abstract
This study explores public preferences regarding COVID-19 vaccine allocation across Brazil, Germany, Italy, Poland, and the United States. Using ranking and forced-choice tasks, the researchers find consistent prioritization of healthcare workers and individuals with medical preconditions, aligning with expert guidelines. However, the public also favors early registrants and citizens over later applicants and non-citizens. These preferences remain consistent across countries and demographic groups.
