This article examines the visual and linguistic representation of alleged perpetrators in news reports from The Telegraph's online platform. The analysis focuses on how visual and verbal elements portray different groups of alleged perpetrators as more or less dangerous. Agency is analyzed through lens range, shot angle, and the direction of the perpetrator's gaze. The study concludes that the images aim to inform the public about the danger posed by these individuals and to legitimize law enforcement actions, potentially excluding the most dangerous actors from ingroups.
