This paper examines migration discourse in Albanian media from 2015-2018, a period of transition for Albania from a primarily sending country to a potential transit and destination country. Using a mixed-methods approach analyzing web and TV media, the study reveals a dominant focus on Albanian emigration, framed by demographic challenges, multiculturalism in receiving countries, and asylum-seeking's impact on EU membership prospects. Limited attention was given to the regional migration "crisis" and Albania's potential as a transit or destination country. A key distinction emerged between "our migrants" (Albanians abroad) and "the other migrants" (those transiting or seeking asylum in Albania).
