This paper introduces Flui3d, an open-source, interactive software platform designed for creating 3D-printed microfluidic devices. Flui3d simplifies the design process by providing a parameterized component library, support for multi-layer designs, and a Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) function that compensates for light penetration issues during stereolithography (SLA) printing. The platform is accessible via a web browser, eliminating the need for specialized software installation. The authors demonstrate Flui3d's capabilities by replicating several microfluidic devices from the literature and showcasing its efficiency in reducing design complexity.
