Abstract

This cross-sectional study compared nurses' and patients' perceptions of COVID-19 nursing care quality in Wuhan, China. Nurses rated care quality higher than patients, particularly expressive caring behaviors. Both groups rated technical care highly but scored "spending time with the patient" lowest. Nurse characteristics (sex, ethical training, professional title, being invited to Wuhan, experience) and patient factors (inpatient setting, communication mode) significantly influenced perceptions.
