Abstract
This study introduces a sustainable approach to utilize livestock manure by converting it into a dual-reaction-center (DRC) Fenton-like catalyst for water purification. The process involves a two-stage calcination-annealing method, creating a catalyst with electron-rich and -poor microregions. This catalyst efficiently removes refractory pollutants using a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, showing long-term effectiveness in treating actual wastewater. The method offers a solution to rural waste disposal and promotes sustainable environmental development.
