Abstract
This research paper investigates the acoustic trapping and streaming in a TinyLev acoustic levitator for the purpose of assembling artificial cells. The study uses COMSOL Multiphysics to simulate the acoustic field and particle behavior. The simulations model both acoustic trapping of droplets and the generation of acoustic streaming within the droplets. The tension exerted on the levitated droplet network is calculated. The findings of the simulation are discussed in relation to their implications for artificial cell assembly.
