This study investigated the relationship between choking susceptibility and mental toughness in athletes. It hypothesized that choking-susceptible athletes would have significantly lower mental toughness than non-choking-susceptible athletes. Data from 415 athletes showed no significant difference in self-reported mental toughness between the two groups. Correlational analyses revealed some differences between mental toughness and the composite scores of choking susceptibility, suggesting avenues for future research.
