Abstract
The paper surveys current materials informatics web applications and introduces MaterialsAtlas.org, a web-based platform for materials discovery. MaterialsAtlas.org offers tools for composition and structure validation, property prediction, hypothetical material search, and utility functions. The authors argue for the broader development of such user-friendly platforms to accelerate materials discovery.
