Abstract
This paper presents an intelligent metasurface system for target tracking and wireless communication. It integrates computer vision (using a convolutional neural network or CNN) to automatically detect moving targets and a dual-polarized digital programmable metasurface (DPM) with a pre-trained artificial neural network (ANN) for smart beam tracking and communication. Experiments demonstrate the system's capabilities in target detection, RF signal detection, and real-time wireless communication, paving the way for integrated target identification, radio environment tracking, and wireless communication.
