Abstract
This paper investigates the internal sustainability efforts (ISEs) of major US companies using employee reviews. A six-dimension ISE framework was developed and validated, analyzing over 350,000 reviews from 104 companies (2008-2020). A deep-learning model scored reviews based on the six ISEs: Monetary, Health, Education, Diversity, Infrastructure, and Atmosphere. High ISE scores correlated with high stock growth, highlighting the micro-level impact of ISEs. The framework offers theoretical and practical implications for corporate sustainability and policy-making.
