This paper investigates the implications of landscape genetics and connectivity for snow leopard conservation in the Nepalese Himalayas. Using habitat suitability maps and genetic analysis, the study identifies suitable habitats, describes the genetic structure of snow leopard populations, and reveals crucial migration corridors. The findings highlight the necessity of protecting these corridors to maintain gene flow and ensure the long-term viability of snow leopard metapopulations.
