Abstract
This article examines how the online discourse of art organizations forges relationships between the artworld and the fields of politics and economy. Combining Bourdieu's field analysis and Fairclough's critical discourse analysis, it analyzes the about pages of *e-flux* and IMMA. Results suggest that these pages forge links between the artworld and other fields by mobilizing and incorporating discourse practices from those fields. The ideological tension from this interdiscursivity is managed differently by each organization, furthering our understanding of how discourse networks fields of practice.
