Abstract
This study analyzes fake posts circulated on Turkish social media during the Russia-Ukraine war, focusing on common themes and polarized discourses. Five main themes feeding polarization were identified: war reporting, ideological misrepresentation, humor, hate speech, and conspiracy theories. Findings reveal that fake content is concentrated around ideological polarization and antagonisms, with misinformation and decontextualized humor blurring the war's true context.
