Abstract
This paper introduces ICEBOAT, an interactive visualization tool designed to help automotive UX experts analyze large amounts of user interaction data from in-vehicle information systems (IVISs). The tool visualizes telematics data, allowing for task-specific analyses of driver interactions. A mixed-methods user-centered design approach, including interviews and co-design sessions with UX experts, guided the development. Evaluation with industry experts (N=12) demonstrated ICEBOAT's effectiveness in facilitating data-driven design decisions.
