This research uses the ARDL (Autoregressive Distributed Lag) model to analyze how COVID-19 impacted trade between Germany and the Visegrad Four (V4) countries. The study finds that COVID-19 had a negative impact on international trade between the V4 and Germany, though the effect varied depending on the specific country and whether the impact was in the short or long run. Post-pandemic, international trade generally returned to its previous trend.
