Abstract
This article analyzes economic determinants influencing Nepal's international trade. Using annual data (July 1975-July 2023), regression analysis on import and export models reveals that for imports, real GDP and India's CPI have significant positive effects, while remittances have a negative effect. For exports, India's CPI shows a significant negative effect, while the exchange rate and real GDP have positive effects. Policy recommendations are made based on these findings to enhance Nepal's trade dynamics and economic resilience.
