Abstract
Cancer and associated secondary bacterial infections are leading causes of mortality due to a lack of effective drugs. This study synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) from an organic source and confirmed their anti-cancer and antimicrobial potentials. Microwave irradiation synthesized AgNPs using *Pandanus odorifer* leaf extract. AgNPs inhibited RBL cell migration (scratch assay). AgNPs exhibited MIC values of 4–16 µg/mL against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, demonstrating antimicrobial potential. Biofilm inhibition was observed at sub-MIC values. Violacein and alginate production were significantly reduced, suggesting anti-quorum sensing activity. Exopolysaccharide production and swarming motility were also significantly reduced. *In vivo* studies in mice confirmed tolerability, indicating clinical potential. The synthesized AgNPs exhibit both anti-metastasis and antimicrobial activities.
