Abstract
This study investigated enzyme and non-enzyme mediated aerobic composting of vegetable market complex waste (VMCW) to address the issue of organic waste disposal and greenhouse gas emissions. Using pre-cultured seed inoculums, the composting period was reduced from 45 days to 9 days, with a 42% organic degradation and significant volume reduction. The resulting compost showed enriched NPK levels.
