This research examines the influences of artificial intelligence and socioeconomic factors on religious freedom across 20 countries from 2000 to 2022. Employing a detailed model, the study finds a notable negative impact of artificial intelligence on religious freedom. Positive correlations were observed with economic growth, political stability, and education levels, while increased digitalization correlated negatively with religious freedom. These conclusions are supported by system-generalized method of moment estimation. The study emphasizes the need for thoughtful consideration of artificial intelligence's broader societal impacts.
