This paper investigates the economic value of weather forecasting services in Chinese agriculture. A household survey across 31 provinces and over 1000 counties utilized a multiple linear regression model to analyze the data. Results show a positive correlation between farmers' use of weather forecasts and increased income, with each additional access channel increasing income by 11.11 yuan. The study also demonstrates statistically significant cost savings due to improved forecasting.
