This research paper examines communication dynamics within the International Institute of Intellectual Cooperation (IIIC) during the interwar period using network science. By analyzing digitized letter collections focusing on administrative and artistic/literary matters, the authors construct networks revealing distinct communication patterns. Administrative exchanges show a more egalitarian distribution, while literary exchanges are concentrated among Western European countries. This highlights the influence of certain geocultural areas and challenges established historical narratives.
