The food and agriculture system significantly impacts countries' net-zero ambitions by 2050. Current pathways often prioritize sustainable intensification, limiting options and hindering the simultaneous address of multiple sustainability issues. This paper introduces ARISE (AgRIculture and food SystEm interactive model), an interactive model allowing stakeholders to design complementary pathways and build consensus. A UK agroecology pathway, assessed by an NGO, is used as a case study, comparing its benefits to existing literature and government pathways. ARISE facilitates exploration of trade-offs between multiple sustainability objectives.
