AI-enhanced collective intelligence
H. Cui and T. Yasseri
Human and AI capabilities can complement each other to exceed what either achieves alone. This review applies complex network science to propose a multilayer model—cognition, physical, and information layers—that captures how diverse humans and varied AI agents interact to shape collective intelligence, examines real-world AI-enhanced examples, and outlines future challenges. Research conducted by Hao Cui and Taha Yasseri.
