This paper investigates the impact of COVID-19 lockdowns and increased teleworking on urban air pollution in Barcelona. Using observational data and simulations with the WRF-Chem model, the study shows significant reductions in NO₂ concentrations with increased teleworking days. While O₃ levels moderately increased, the findings suggest that promoting teleworking is an effective strategy for long-term air pollution reduction.
