This systematic review examines the literature on the effectiveness of youth skills training programs in agriculture in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The review analyzes 16 studies (9 quantitative, 4 qualitative, 3 mixed methods) assessing the impact of these programs on employment, income, productivity, and entrepreneurship. While the studies generally report positive effects, the review highlights a significant lack of rigorous evaluation in the field, emphasizing a critical gap in knowledge to inform donor and policymaker investment decisions.
