Abstract
This work reports the development of a new microchannel capillary flow assay (MCFA) platform for chemiluminescence-based ELISA using lyophilized reagents. The MCFA platform, utilizing passive flow control and a smartphone-based optical detector connected via USB-OTG, achieves a limit of detection (LOD) of 8 ng/mL for PfHRP2, a malaria biomarker. The system is cost-effective, portable, and easily adaptable for other biomarkers.
