π Benefits of the Youth Hub European Parliament Charlemagne Youth Prize
- Monetary Awards:
- First Prize: β¬7,500
- Second Prize: β¬5,000
- Third Prize: β¬2,500
- Representatives from each national winning project are invited to the Charlemagne Youth Prize award ceremony in Aachen.
- Winners are invited to visit the European Parliament (in Brussels or Strasbourg).
- Schuman Traineeship Opportunity:
- One representative from each of the three European laureates will be offered a Schuman traineeship in the European Parliament.
- The representative must be part of the core team of the winning project and meet all eligibility criteria for the traineeship scheme.
- The traineeship can begin on either 1 October or 1 March within 12 months following the award of the prize.
- Details will be communicated directly to the national winning projects ahead of the award ceremony.
β Eligibility Criteria
- Open to young people aged 16β30 residing in an EU Member State.
- Applications can be submitted by:
- Individuals
- Groups
- Organizations (represented by someone meeting the age and residency criteria).
- Projects must:
- Show identifiable results.
- Align with the objectives of the prize.
- Ineligible Projects:
- Projects still in the planning phase.
- Academic theses.
- Profit-driven activities.
- Governmental initiatives.
- Projects already awarded by EU institutions.

- One representative from each of the 3 European laureates will be offered the opportunity of a Schuman traineeship in the European Parliament. A representative nominated to take the traineeship should be part of the core team of the winning project and meet all the eligibility criteria for the traineeship scheme. The traineeship could be taken up starting on either 1 October or on 1 March in the 12 months following the award of the Prize. Details about this opportunity will be communicated directly to the national winning projects ahead of the Award Ceremony.
