The Global Career Accelerator Program builds on the success of the Emerging Producer Program and is open to professionals across various fields, including:

The program aims to support diverse emerging talent and encourage a new generation of Congress members. It is open to producers and content creators working in science, history, wildlife, and non-fiction media.

Qualified applicants will be selected to receive one of the following tiers of support for Congress '25:

Full Bursary (Tier 1)

• Welcome session with leading producers to facilitate an effective WCSFP experience
• Tailored assistance and advice to navigate WCSFP

Priority: Given to producers from markets underrepresented at WCSFP.

Partial Bursary (Tier 2)

• Full registration for Congress '25
• Mentorship from a Congress veteran
• Welcome session with leading producers to facilitate an effective WCSFP experience
• Tailored assistance and advice to navigate WCSFP
• Discounted accreditation to attend Congress 2026 and 2027

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. First-Time Attendees: Applicants must be attending WCSFP for the first time.
2. Tier 1 Bursary Priorities:
   • Applicants from outside WCSFP's traditional attendance base (e.g., outside Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, UK, USA).
   • OR applicants who have not previously attended a major international market event.
3. Underrepresented Voices: The program encourages applications from diverse cultural and geographic backgrounds.
4. Relevant Experience: Applicants must demonstrate experience in science, history, wildlife, or factual genres in roles such as:
   • Executive Producer
   • Producer
   • Associate Producer
   • Assistant Producer
   • Digital, gaming, or social media content creator
5. Career Stage: Applicants should be at a career stage where attendance at a large international event would be beneficial.

• A short bio
• A current CV
• A video or audio work sample (in English or subtitled in English)
• A letter of support from an industry professional or senior media-related individual assessing the applicant's qualifications
• An application statement detailing:
  • The applicant’s involvement in science, history, or non-fiction media
  • Recent or current projects
  • Goals for attending Congress
