This programme is open to:

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrates humility, empathy, and resilience.

  • Self-Made: Ability to take on responsibilities at the highest level.

May 19 - June 19, 2025: Call for Applications

  • The program opens its call for applications, inviting talented young African women to apply.

June - July 2025: Selection Process

  • Candidates are reviewed based on academic achievements, career success, leadership abilities, and commitment to making a positive impact. A shortlist of outstanding individuals is created.

July - August 2025: Interview with the Jury

  • Shortlisted candidates participate in a final interview stage with a panel of 12 international jury members, showcasing their ambitions, leadership potential, and personal journeys.

September 2025: Official Announcement

  • The new cohort of WIA Young Leaders is officially announced online and in the press, celebrating their achievements and introducing them to a global audience.

November - December 2025: Learning Expedition

  • Selected participants embark on an exclusive business trip to Paris. This journey includes:

    • Meetings with influential figures in business, philanthropy, and social leadership.
