✅ Eligibility Criteria
The Wild Wonder Micro Grant Program is open to individuals and groups worldwide with ideas that use nature journaling to inspire others. You might be:
- An educator or teacher bringing nature journaling into classrooms or training workshops.
- A community leader or organizer starting a new nature journaling club.
- An artist, scientist, or writer creating books, websites, or publications tied to nature journaling.
- A student or emerging leader piloting a new outreach or conservation project.
- A passionate naturalist or volunteer eager to share the practice with neighbors, families, or local organizations.
Eligible Projects
The program supports a variety of projects worldwide, especially those that train educators to teach nature journaling. Eligible projects include but are not limited to:
- Nature journaling events, trainings, classes, publications, websites, etc.
- Launching a new nature journaling club or supporting an existing club.
- Other projects or materials that help people engage with nature and nature journaling, increase the number of new nature journalers, and/or expand the capacity for people to teach others.

Applicants are encouraged to prepare the following information using the Application Worksheet before submitting their application via the online form.
Required Information
- Contact Information: Name, email, phone, etc.
- Geographic Region of the Project: City, state, province, district, or region.
- Background and Experience: Explain your qualifications and why you are applying for the grant.
- Project Summary: Summarize your project in 1-2 sentences.
- Project Narrative: Describe the project in approximately 500 words, including action items, audience, publicity plans, and collaborations.
- Timeline: Provide a detailed timeline demonstrating project completion within the required timeframe.
- Metrics: Estimate the number of people your project will reach and how you will measure its impact.
- References: Provide contact information for two references familiar with your work.
- Budget: Include a detailed budget with projected costs and the total requested grant amount.
- Financial or In-Kind Contributions: List any donated funds, time, materials, or space for your project.
