🏫 About the Program

The Fung Global Fellows Program is designed for early-career scholars employed outside the United States who hold a faculty appointment or a professional research appointment. Fellows are expected to return to their positions after the fellowship concludes. The program seeks individuals with outstanding scholarly achievements and unusual intellectual promise.

Fellows will be appointed at the rank of Visiting Research Scholar and will spend 10 months in residence at Princeton University.

  • Expected Salary Range: $100,000.00 to $135,000.00

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Fung Global Fellows Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Ph.D. Requirement:

    • Applicants must have received their Ph.D. (or equivalent) after September 1, 2016.
    • Candidates currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program or employed as postdocs are not eligible to apply.
  • Selection Criteria:

    • Strength of the proposed research project.
    • Relevance of the project to the program's theme.
    • Scholarly record.
    • Ability to contribute to the intellectual life of the program.

📝 Application Process

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Cover Letter (maximum 1.5 pages).
  2. Curriculum Vitae (including publications).
  3. Research Proposal (maximum 3 pages, single-spaced).
  4. One Writing Sample (article or book chapter, maximum 50 pages).
  5. References:
    • Provide the names and email addresses of three referees.
    • Referees will be contacted automatically by the online application system to upload their letters of recommendation by the application deadline.
