  • Grant range: $5,000–$50,000

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants must:

  • Be based in Australia.
  • Be financially solvent.
  • Support the ex-service community as their primary activity.
  • Deliver the project within Victoria.
  • Have no overdue reports from previous grants.
  • Hold an ABN or provide ATO confirmation of no-withholding-tax status.
  • Be one of the following:
    • Not-for-profit companies under the Corporations Act.
    • Incorporated associations.
    • Other recognised entities under Australian legislation.
    • Unincorporated groups applying through an auspice.
    • Eligible social enterprises aligned with veteran wellbeing.

Eligible Social Enterprises Must Demonstrate:

  • A mission supporting veterans.
  • An operating model based on:
    • Employment creation.
    • Meeting unmet community needs.
    • Profit redistribution for public benefit.
  • A constitution showing a commitment to social impact.

Who Is Not Eligible?

The following entities cannot apply:

  • State or federal government departments.
  • Individuals or sole traders.
  • Hospitals and health service organisations.
  • Commercial businesses not registered as tax-exempt charities.
  • Organisations that have failed to meet previous grant obligations.

  1. Confirm organisational eligibility
    Ensure your entity meets the legal and mission-based requirements.

  2. Prepare project documentation
    Provide clear project descriptions, objectives, budgets, and timelines.

  3. Demonstrate community impact
    Explain how the project benefits veterans and increases facility use.

  4. Submit through the official grants portal
    Include all required evidence, including ABN or ATO confirmation.
