UCL IMPACT Scholarship
The UCL Master of Public Health (MPH) program offers two scholarships annually to support applicants who demonstrate financial need, have lived experience of inequality, and show great promise for making an impact in population health.

The IMPACT Scholarship, valued at up to £20,500, contributes towards the recipient’s tuition fees for the MPH program. It is available for students studying:

Admissions Criteria:
Must meet the admissions criteria for the UCL online Master of Public Health (MPH) program. -
Admissions Application:
Must have submitted an admissions application for the MPH program at UCL, starting in the 2025/26 academic year.

The scholarship is awarded based on a comprehensive evaluation of the applicant's description of:

Personal Experience of Inequality:
How their lived experience of inequality has shaped their drive to study Public Health. -
Scholarship Impact:
Why they should receive the scholarship and how it will benefit them personally. -
Future Contribution to Population Health:
How they will use their experience of inequality, the scholarship, and the MPH program to make a difference in population health.
Selection Process:
- A panel of two assessors will review and score each application separately.
- Combined/average scores across assessors will be ranked.
- The two highest-scoring applicants will be recommended for the scholarships.
