The Tipping Point Pacific Grant is a small-scale, flexible funding opportunity designed to support grassroots movements across the Pacific region. It focuses on feminist climate justice, combining environmental action with gender equality, Indigenous rights, and community-led solutions.

This grant is specifically structured to fund locally driven initiatives that protect land, oceans, and communities while addressing systemic inequalities.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

The grant is open to:

• Youth-led, women-led, people living with disabilities, or gender-diverse groups
• Indigenous, community-rooted, and grassroots collectives
• Informal networks or unregistered groups (Fiscal hosting available with Oxfam Pacific)
• Groups with limited access to funding
• Must be based in one of the following locations:
  • West Papua, Kanaky, Guam, Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands, Hawai’i, Ma’ohi Nui (French Polynesia), Wallis and Futuna, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Fiji

📅 Application Date and Process

Applications must include:

1. Background information of your organization, collective, or grassroots alliances and networks
2. A clear description of your advocacy, including your theory of change in any of the following areas:
   • Gender equality
   • Climate justice
   • Demilitarization
   • Land and ocean sovereignty
   • Indigenous alternatives
   • Feminist climate conscience raising
   • Narrative shifting
   • Healing and collective well-being
3. Describe your connection to communities, particularly working with women, girls, youth, and gender-diverse peoples
4. Share highlights of your work through links to videos, photos, social media, websites, etc.
5. A proposed budget for 6-12 months
6. Applications can only be accepted in English and French
