βœ… Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Inge Lehmann Programme, you must meet the following requirements:

  • PhD Degree:
    • You must have obtained a PhD degree within the last 2 to 6 years at the time of the application deadline.
    • Alternatively, you must have equivalent qualifications, such as a positive assistant professorship evaluation (β€œadjunktbedΓΈmmelse”) within the same timeframe.
  • Research Experience:
    • You must possess substantial independent research experience corresponding to a minimum of 2 years after obtaining your PhD degree.
  • Employment:
    • You must be employed as an assistant professor/associate professor (adjunkt/lektor), researcher/senior researcher (forsker/seniorforsker), or fellow (docent) at a Danish research institution.
    • The institution must be covered by a job structure at one of the following Danish ministries:
      • Ministry of Higher Education and Science
      • Ministry of Culture
      • Ministry of Defence
      • Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Utilities
