🏫 About The Scholarship Programme

The Spärck AI Scholarship Programme is funded by the government and named after pioneering British computer scientist Karen Spärck Jones. This scholarship provides full funding (tuition fees and stipend) for selected scholars to undertake a master’s course at one of the nine partnered universities.

📅 Application Date and Process

Application Process:

The application process for the scholarship and the programme are separate, and success in one does not guarantee success in the other. Applicants must submit an application to an eligible programme before applying for the scholarship.

Completion of an online form comprising:

1. Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) statement.
2. Personal statement.
3. Essay question.
4. Reference.

Stage Two:

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews based on the strength of their application.
• Interviews will take place in May 2026.
