πŸ›οΈ About King Baudouin Foundation Sophie Wittemans Fund

The Sophie Wittemans Fund provides financial support for projects exploring the history of the Guide and Scout movements in Belgium. It aims to encourage research and publications that document the movement’s evolution, including its presence in former colonies and related entities such as the Belgian Armed Forces in Germany.

🎁 Benefits of the Fund

The Fund provides financial support for:

  • Research projects carried out by researchers of all nationalities, individually or jointly. This research can cover all aspects of the Belgian guide and scout movement at all levels (local, regional, national, interfederal, etc.), including the international one.
  • Publication projects in any form (paper, audio, video, podcasts, etc.) on the results of a study on the Belgian guide and scout movement. These publications can be realized in collaboration with publishers, with or without prior support from the Fund.

Assistance is granted based on high-quality, useful, and budgeted projects, which are submitted to the Fund's Management Committee. Aid may be requested at any stage of the research or publication, depending on where it is most useful for the implementation of the project.
