SIIT Graduate Scholarship Program for International Students

The SIIT Graduate Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for international students. This is a fully funded scholarship for outstanding candidates pursuing Master’s and Ph.D. degrees at the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) in Thailand.

The SIIT Graduate Scholarship is designed for international students with exceptional academic and extracurricular records. It provides financial support for students pursuing Master’s and Doctoral degrees.

Scholarships for Foreign Applicants (Ph.D. Degree)

EFS (Type A)

• Living Allowance: 15,000 Baht/month (for 3 years)
• Tuition fee support
• Research/Thesis support
• Round-trip economy travel expenses
• Miscellaneous expenses (up to 10,000 Baht/student)
• Visa
• Health & Accident Insurance
• English proficiency test for graduation
• Required to stay at the SIIT dormitory for at least 12 months

EFS (Type B)

• Living Allowance: 10,000 Baht/month (for 3 years)
• Tuition fee support
• Research/Thesis support
• Round-trip economy travel expenses
• Miscellaneous expenses (up to 10,000 Baht/student)
• Visa
• Health & Accident Insurance
• English proficiency test for graduation
• Required to stay at the SIIT dormitory for at least 12 months

Faculty’s Quota

• Tuition fee support
• Research/Thesis support
• Miscellaneous expenses (up to 10,000 Baht/student)
• English proficiency test for graduation

• Full SIIT tuition and educational support fees (including full thesis support)
• Living Allowance: 10,000 Baht/month (for 2 years)
• Research/Thesis support
• Round-trip economy travel expenses
• Miscellaneous expenses (up to 10,000 Baht/student)
• Visa
• Health & Accident Insurance
• English proficiency test for graduation

Exclusions:

• TU matriculation fee
• Tuition fee support (600 Baht)

Faculty’s Quota

• Tuition fee support
• Research/Thesis support
• Miscellaneous expenses (up to 10,000 Baht/student)
• English proficiency test for graduation

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be from any country except Thailand.
• Must be able to continue Master’s or Doctoral studies at SIIT.
• For Master’s Program: Minimum CGPA of 2.75 in Bachelor’s degree.
• For Ph.D. Program: Minimum CGPA of 3.50 in Master’s degree.
• Must be fluent in English (TOEFL PBT 400+, IBT 32+, IELTS 4.5+) and provide certified proof of proficiency.
• Must have a strong academic record and be in the top 20% of their class.
• Must be in good health and have a clean record.
• Applicants who have received other grants or scholarships are not eligible.

• Statement of Purpose (at least one page)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume
• Official transcripts (Bachelor’s and Master’s)
• Citizen ID card or passport
• Research paper, publication, or certificates (if applicable)
• Recent photograph (1 x 1.5 inches in JPEG format)

Note: You can apply without submitting an English proficiency test score. However, if admitted, you must submit the score within the first semester. Failure to meet the criteria will result in dismissal.

1. Register at the SIIT Graduate Admission portal.
2. Select your desired program and complete the online application.
3. Log in using your email as the username and your passport number or Citizen ID as the password (change it after the first login).
