📖 About SEF Research Fellows Program

The SEF Research Fellows Program aims to:

  • Support scholars in conducting applied research.
  • Foster collaboration and provide support to scholars.
  • Contribute to building a more just and inclusive education system, particularly for students from historically marginalized communities.

✅ SEF Research Fellows Program Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Doctoral candidates (ABD) or postdoctoral researchers in education, public policy, economics, sociology, or related fields.
  • Early- to mid-career researchers working in academia, nonprofits, or policy organizations.
  • Scholars with a demonstrated commitment to improving educational outcomes in the South.
  • Applicants from HBCUs and Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) are strongly encouraged to apply.
