The SEA DREAM 4 Health program invites applications to support high-impact research initiatives that advance scientific discovery, foster innovation, and generate strong evidence to address urgent and emerging health challenges across Southeast Asia.

This program is designed to:

• Strengthen regional research capacity.
• Support collaborative, multi-country research efforts.
• Contribute to sustainable health outcomes and informed policymaking.

💰 Benefits of SEA DREAM 4 Health Grant Program

• Maximum Award: USD 6,500,000 per research consortium.
• Recommended Funding Range: Between USD 5,500,000 and USD 6,500,000, depending on the scope, scale, and ambition of the proposed research.

✅ SEA DREAM 4 Health Grant Program Requirements

A Consortium must be structured as a hub-and-spoke model and adhere to the following criteria:

Consortium Composition:

• Minimum of three organisations, including the Lead, each from a different Southeast Asian country.
• At least one organisation from a Southeast Asian Lower Middle-Income Country (per World Bank 2025 classification):
  • Cambodia
  • Lao PDR
  • Myanmar
  • Philippines
  • Timor-Leste
  • Vietnam
• Recommended size: Three to five organisations.

Eligibility of Consortium Members:

• Must be:
  • Not-for-profit organisations.
  • Public or private universities.
  • Commercial organisations involved within not-for-profit divisions or clearly marked as not-for-profit generating activities.
• Must be able to sign up to SEA DREAM grant conditions.
• May include organisations with their legal entity registered outside Southeast Asia, if all other eligibility criteria are met.
